Step Two: Model Activity
Watch this sample of a book talk and determine whether the book talk meets the requirements we discussed for the drill.

Step Three: Preparation
Take this time to prepare your book talk. Make sure you refer to the rubric as you plan.
NOTE- Students who haven't selected should use Destiny at http://destiny.bcps.org/common/servlet/presenthomeform.do?l2m=Home&tm=Home&l2m=Home to locate a book and check it out.
Step Four: Share
Share your book talk by reading parts or all of your booktalk.
Step Five: Completion
Complete your preparations for your book talk. Make sure you have the book talk prepared by the date given to you by your teacher.
NOTE- Students will receive extra credit by doing the following:
-uploading book talks to the wiki
-commenting in one or more of the following ways:
- what you liked about the book talk
- what the presenter should consider in the future when presenting to the class
-commenting on this project and/or the use of this wiki
